Money runs deeper than the dollar amount in your bank account. We were not taught anywhere to consider our thoughts, beliefs and emotions about money. We’re lucky if we even learned about finances in school at all in. Money touches all aspects of our lives, and we can improve our financial well-being.
With my training and experience working with people to improve their relationship with money, I can also guide you. I can help you improve your thoughts, feelings and behaviors around money. I can guide you through the process of breaking down guilt and shame so that you can feel confident and capable.

FAQs
Q: Is financial wellness or therapy covered by insurance?
A: It depends. If you have a diagnosable condition (ie anxiety, depression, addiction, etc) that is connected to your financial stress, I can bill insurance. If you do not have a diagnosis, insurance will not cover therapy, but self-pay is an option.
Q: What are sessions like?
A: The first session or two, I will be getting to know you and gain a full understanding of your experiences and concerns with a focus on finances (at your pace). We will also determine your therapy and financial goals. Then, we will get to work. Some sessions will specifically cover topics including your money story, beliefs about money, development of a spending plan, etc.
